Skywalker - schlechtester Start der Trilogie. Ich finde es fatal wie der öffentliche Diskurs immer öfter von wenigen Stimmen geleitet werden, die meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht die wesentlichen Probleme aufgreifen. Es hat mittlerweile echt oft den Anschein, dass die Diskussion über Dinge nur noch aus der Sicht von Hörensagen aus zweiter Hand geschieht. Also Skywalker ist sicherlich kein guter Film, das liegt aber nicht.

* Lange bevor die Star Wars-Saga Episode IX erreichte, legte Lucasfilm Wert darauf, Spoiler davon abzuhalten, herauszukommen. Das Unternehmen weigerte sich, den Spielzeugherstellern in Hasbro wichtige Handlung Details von The Force Awakens und Rogue One zu enthüllen, da es wusste, dass sie den Film möglicherweise ruinieren würden. Die Medienvertreter wurden aufgefordert, alle elektronischen Geräte vor der Pressevorführung auszuhändigen, und es ist den Teilnehmern strengstens untersagt, den Stand.

Alle Gerüchte über Star Wars Episode 9. So I'm gonna start with my complaints regarding the movie. This will contain spoilers so reader beware.

  • Palpatine coming back was really dumb.
  • Finn and Poe don't end up together, nor with anyone else.
  • What did Finn want to tell Rey when they were in the sand?
  • Leia's death was kinda out of no where and weird.

Now that that's out of the way, even with those minor issues I had with the movie, this was still the best Star Wars movie in the series. THIS is the kind of thing I want to see going forward. Rey and Ben made great main characters and I loved seeing Rey, Finn and Poe spend most of the movie together. Watching both Rey and Ben struggle with their inner fears and coming out on top was so satisfying. I'm glad Rose didn't play a major part in this movie and I'm glad they dropped the romance between her and Finn because bad. Finn and Poe not ending up together despite their chemistry is. Sad but not unexpected.

Ben dying was sad but I'm not angry about it like everyone else. I feel like a lot of people missed the point that it doesn't matter Rey is a Palpatine since she those Skywalker as a family name? Like that's kinda the whole thing. She's continuing the family line in spirit.

Overall I love the message that family is who you choose and that being a blood relative to someone doesn't mean you have to follow in their footsteps. You create your own path in life.

Also Rey's final lightsaber is real cool. I kinda wish it was duel-sided like it looked to be but who knows.
